ステートメント
物は固定された実体をもたず、観念として成立する。
それは時代や環境との関係のなかで絶えず更新される、可変的な存在である。石もまた、水や風、有機的な残骸と関わりながら変容し、固定された個体ではなく、流動する過程としてそこに在る。
本作において私は、石を情報として現前させることで「運ばずに運ぶ」という行為を試みた。それは物質の実存を問い直す静かな実践でもある。石を情報として差し出すとき、問われるのは対象ではなく、私たちの認識そのものである。そこに在る石は、単なる物質を超え、世界の輪郭と存在の境界をひそやかに映し返す。
Statement：
Objects are aggregates of perception.
So as not to disturb their essential balance within the universe, I refrained from touching the stone, and instead turned my gaze toward the act of perception itself.
The stone before me becomes more than mere matter̶it becomes a mirror that questions how the world appears, and where the boundaries of existence are drawn.
プロフィール
中国出身、東京在住。
物質がイメージへと変換されるプロセスと、それに伴う認識の変容を主題に、インスタレーションや映像を中心とした制作を展開している。世界の「視認」と「錯認」を浮き彫りにしながら、現代におけるリアリティの所在と写真メディアの根源的な力を問い直している。
同時に、作品の「存続」の在り方を「写真」と「写真以外」の境界から探究してきた。その過程で、再現不可能な形態をもつ手製本を、作品の記録であり拡張、さらには密やかな「付属物」として継続的に制作している。「本未満」であり「本以上」でもあるその存在を通じて、物質とイメージ、現実と記録の関係を静かに揺さぶり続けている。
Profile：
Born in China, based in Tokyo.
My practice centers on the transformation of material into image and the perceptual shifts that accompany this process, working primarily through installation and moving image. By foregrounding acts of seeing and misrecognition, I examine the location of reality in contemporary society and reconsider the fundamental power of photographic media.
At the same time, I explore how artworks persist beyond their immediate presentation, navigating the boundary between “photography” and “the non-photographic.” In this process, I continuously produce unique handmade books—irreproducible in form—that function as documentation, extension, and at times discreet appendices to the works. Situated between “less than a book” and “more than a book,” these objects quietly unsettle the relationships between material and image, reality and record.
